VBS
summer
Vacation Bible School is provided each summer for children who have finished pre-K through grade 6 as well as an adult class for everyone else. It is generally five evenings from 6 - 8 filled with fun and engaging learning, crafts, experiments, recreation and snacks. Actual dates, time and a pre-registration form can be found on the Calendar of Events page.
Live Nativity
December
Our members become a part of the Christmas story with live animals surrounding the nativity. This is generally a limited event occurring only two Sunday evenings prior to Christmas. Enjoy some hot chocolate at the end of the journey.
This is set up as a Drive Thru or Walk Thru event.
Ice Cream Social
summer
Most everyone loves ice cream! Sometimes it is homemade and sometimes, not. But it is always good and always coupled with yummy desserts like brownies or cookies. The children usually find time to go outside and play in our large open field behind the church while the adults visit or play games.
Pioneer Day
fall
Started in 2020 as a way to celebrate the Pioneer Spirit in all of us, we use time period dress, create take-home crafts, have fun with pioneer games, and offer hotdogs and water to make the day complete. A great day of totally free fun for the whole family!
Movie under the stars
summer/fall
It's fun to get together under the stars for a movie night at the church. Popcorn, soda and fellowship all included. The movie starts shortly after sunset but come early to enjoy the evening with friends and family.
Hayride and Bonfire
October
This is one of our most loved and well-attended events. We eat and then take a truck-pulled haywagon for a ride through the countryside. Upon returning, we go for the s'mores and hot chocolate. Join the hayride or choose to stay by the fire and relax. A perfect event for all ages.
Ladies' Breakfast

The ladies meet for a time of fellowship and short devotion approximately once a month from September thru April. We generally meet at a local restaurant early Sunday morning, but that is subject to change.
Men's Fellowship
various
The men generally meet at the church for times of comradery and short devotion at various times throughout the year. It can include any number of activities and will be well supervised for the younger ones.
Parents' Night Out
various
A few times a year, we provide a fun night for the children so the parents can have an evening to themselves. We try to have one around Christmas to provide uninterrupted shopping and others throughout the year.
Thanksgiving Dinner
November
We prepare and serve a full homemade Thanksgiving dinner for those who have nowhere to go, have limited resources or just want some companionship on Thanksgiving Day. It is open to the public but requires an RSVP because our seating is limited. If you would like to join us, please use the "contact us" option on the menu bar.
Easter
March or April
Easter Sunday is a special time for our church, beginning with a sunrise service, held outside (weather permitting), about 7:30 am. A family style breakfast is prepared by members and shared with guests around 8:30. An egg hunt for the children follows breakfast. Regular morning services begin at 9:45 with Bible Study for all ages and worship at 11:00.
Christmas Program
December
Christmas is a special time of year to remember what a gift we have in Jesus. Our kids and families work hard to put together a fun, entertaining and meaningful program. Generally, this is the Sunday morning before Christmas, but can change depending on what day Christmas falls on.
Special Studies
varies
We try to do at least one extended, in-depth study each year across a series of Sunday evenings. We have done Biblical Citizenship, Foreign Missions with authentic meals and customs, Books, Christian gifts and leadership, and many others. Check the Calendar of Events to see what we have planned for this year. This is a way to strengthen and broaden your Christian walk.
