Founding

We began in 1914 as a church plant of First Baptist Church Pleasant Hill to establish a place of worship for rural families. Even though it has been over 100 years, we still love people, support missions, and preach God's word as written. We plan to continue as God directs until the day of His return.

Objectives

HGBC strives to be a dynamic congregation empowered by the Holy Spirit to

share Christ daily in our church, community, and throughout the world
